In total you will need to spend at least five years working toward your bachelor degree and then your Master’s degree. This is one of the less common advanced degree types, as many people haven't considered seeking a degree that focuses on taxes. However, choosing a specific concentration will make you more competitive within that field.
Masters of Business Administration
An MBA is the degree type that all young accountants aspire to. This is the advanced degree that people complete for after they have already become certified public accountants. Having this degree type will mean that you are eligible for higher level positions.
